CE 2164 Lecture:
Prof :Some students emailed me over the recess week and asked for the test to be postponed because they had to go back to their hometown and they said it wasn't fair for them for the test to be on this saturday.
*general protest*
*date changes from April to March to April to weekends to weekdays to Saturdays to Sundays and to weekdays...*
*45 minutes in fruitless discussion*
"We will have it in April"
Me: ?!?
Friday, 6 March
CE 2112 Lecture
*LT almost filled*
Prof: Is everyone here? Can someone count to see if everyone is here? Some students emailed me the past few days asking for the topics to be covered which I have mentioned in class, so it appears that they did not come for lectures and maybe they didn't know about the test. So let's postpone it.
*general protest*
*Prof engages in monologue, convincing himself to postpone the test*
"Yes we will postpone it, it's not fair to those to didn't turn up right? Then they will get zero.."
Us: We DON'T CARE. (less competition the better)
*more monologue*
Prof: We will have it next week. We will continue lecture now.
*more protest*
Prof: You all are already so old, why can't you all understand?
*resume lecture*
Me: ?!?
For once, students have to beg for a test. Stabbings and deaths have turned the world upside down.
On a side note, I hate people who patronise me. And who suck at it too (it's obvious when I stop midway and you don't even realised, I could be talking to myself for all I know). If you can't be bothered to know something about me, don't bother asking. If you asked, don't act all haughty and bored and totally ignore the fact that I replied your questions when I am done. I don't think I am that boring to not hold your attention for only a good 15 seconds or less. I didn't initiate the conversation and I certainly don't like patronising. I barely like socialising. So if you can't be bothered, please stay that way. (Sadly, I doubt you know who you are.)
