Got the new car today! Whee~~ Miss driving. But lacking the clutch pedal will definitely get some getting used to. Everytime I stick my left foot out for that familiar footing and yet find nothing disorientates me somehow. I cant even release the handbrake without feeling like something is wrong! Haha. I sound like a scary driver don't I. And I cant reverse at the nice safe pace I like cause instead of controlling the accelerator, I am now controlling the brake. Which disorientates me again. I sound really ditzy right now. Shall not continue any further.
The outing today was kinda scattered and random, the highlight (highlight because its the only thing we did... -_-) being us watching Quarantine. It was ok. Sufficient gore, the expected scares and suspence and occaionally downright hilarious parts. Zombie flicks seldom fail I guess (exception being 28 days later which somehow got good reviews when it was rather boring) as long as the plot doesnt get screwed up too badly. Miss the Resident Evil saga. Those shows kick ass!
Speaking of hilarious parts, there were really some funny scenes like when the camera man literally smashed a zombie to death using the camera he was filming the entire show with. So we see this old bloody woman get smashed onto the screen over and over again. Maybe it's disturbing but I found it damn funny. So did some guys at the back who were practically howling in laughter. And there was this part where I laughed till I cried! Everyone basically just went into hysteria with the main female lead (the reporter) going especially berserk. One zombie jumped on her which then got killed by 2 guys who were with her. But she couldnt stop screaming "I AM BITTEN!!!! AHHH!!!! I AM BITTEN!!!!". Argh, my description doesnt do justice to the scene but you get the point. Nvm, watch it and you will understand. I think I always zi high very easily.
Warning to people prone to motion sickness though, the show is so shaky that ssr felt sick later. Haha.
