1. Register for St John first aid course online

• online server for registration was down
• vincent had to sign the registration form!
• I had to go down to the HQ to pay the fees

2. Renew passport

• I had to get the new biomatric one which I can only get in a week or so instead of just getting a "renewed" chop as promised on the website!!
• the stupid helpline was engaged and I had to go down to ICA to discover the above mentioned unpleasant surprise
• the queues in ICA are a nightmare. not because they were long but because no one knew where to queue for what!! I was asking people and people were asking me. a serious case of blind leading the blind. I went in circles looking for a queue ticket machine only to hear a man going "where to get queue ticket!! so messy!!" seriously. chaotic.
• and there is this completely ridiculous practice where you pay $10 lesser if you were to submit your passport application form via this deposit box instead of doing it at the counter. I didnt queue up just to listen to someone tell me how to save $10. does it seriously cost the people at the counter $10 just to process the form! not as if anything is becoming more efficient in the process..

3. Do RAG

• I need the lorry dimensions!! what was that Murphy's law again? oh ya.. "Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first". wonderful

4. Get lorry dimensions

• the STUPID IRRITATING lorry person refuses to let us see his lorry!!! call and call and call.. everytime he will go "I'll call you later" and HE DOESNT. %&@!#
• so we had to call every stupid lorry rental company in Singapore
• so we had to go online to look for the companies
• so we had to move from KFC to Mac cause KFC doesnt have wirelss@sg
• so Joel called and called... from companies in the west to north to central and either they did not have a 14 foot long lorry or it's already rented out or noone picked up
• so we resorted to looking in the east and FOUND ONE at Joo Chiat Road!
• and Mac has no power socket and my laptop died after a while so we didnt know where exactly the company was!
• so we called the STUPID IRRITATING lorry person and guess what?? he said "call you later" ARGH. words fail me when I think of him
• so we left for Joo Chiat
• and we cant find the correct bus
• and when we did, we overshoot our stop
• and we had to walk from like 1 Joo Chiat Road to 363 Joo Chiat Road to reach the company
• and the lorry was damn ex!!
• and the lorry wasnt even at the shop
• so we had to sit some lorry to this carpark at Fort Road to measure the lorry
• and then sit the lorry back to Joo Chiat and walk to parkway to take bus home

random point: took bus 12 home from katong area. it felt so weird to reach home in less than an hour via public transport!

now I know why I feel so damn tired.
