todays mock com.. mani things happened.. so dramatic la.. brought back mani memories...
some teams..well... cork up or nv practice or watever... it doesnt matter! seriously.. i hav faith that all teams in ahs have wat it takes to be GREAT! as long as the effort is put in, who can sae we are any worse than hai xing or dhs? WE ARE THE SCHOOL THAT TRASHED EVERYONE AT NATIONAL COM!! and we ROCK!
faith probably determines failure and success... probably the onli reason i liked training jasmin's team.. mani pple gave up in them but me and yan had FAITH! we believed they could do it even though they were slack UNTIL.... a bit hopeless la.. call and call them... nian and nian... plead and plead... just to get them to go training.. we could hardly get a full team half the time.. training was really a mess... probably lik the teams now anw..
mock com came and i nv felt more unprepared for them... there seemed to be so mani things they didnt noe and so little time.. the results were.. well... they were the onli sq 3 team tt lost to the sq 2.. looked like the moment to just give up.. me and yan did wat we could and it just wasnt showing.. even the sq 2 were more hopeful..
but sometimes we have to lose to be able to win.. that loss was probably the best thing tt happened to their team.. emotions aside, wat was critical was their realisation of how slack they were and the motivation they got to wanna do better... and the results were...
ZONE COM CHAMP. wow. so touched la.. was the first time i cried of joy... nv knew it really happened in real life.. the real satisfaction came from training a team that pple had doubts in and throw those doubts back in their face! hahaa.. failing once doesnt mean failing forever..
teams tt were sadtoday just gt to know tt pple win and pple lose.. and there may be onli 1 champion during com, but everyone can be winners.. winning friendships, trust, experiences, memories.. there are more impt things to win than trophies..
as long as everone did their best, who can sae we have lost?
joanne, yan, sihui, sooyee and me trained to hard to get last in homenursing and overall fifth in our 2002 zone com. probably the worst results ahs ever gt la... but the bond we forged on tt dae was probably stronger than our 3-5 months of training... tt moment where we felt each other's sadness and pain was when we realised we were so much more than just a com team, but A TEAM. and tt's a prize no one can take from us. ever.
no teams are bad, its just how GOOD u are.
