now that world cup fever is officially gone... guess its time someone else burns up the screen
and who's better to do that than my JOHNNY DEPP! (yes... MINE)
love the fact that his pictures can be seen all over busstops and magazines and wat nots. now i can see him everyday after school! hope noone ever removes that huge poster at my house busstop.
POTC 2 totally rocks my ass off. its certainly worth more than the 3 stars that critics have gievn it. i noe that ms, jw and my bro can attest to this. now meiyun and ms are ready to join my depp fanclub man... and i am so proud that i found him 1st!! just as proud as ms that she found gerrad 1st. he is finally gettin the recognition and fame he deserves! he can act his butt off! and jack sparrow is ranked 2nd on the fav movie character on 8 days mag(after the super shuai and cool wolverine), so kayee, he ROCKS k! orlando bloom pls step aside.
but its kind of sad that he's 43 already... sigh... 10 more years and he will be a old man! (but still a shuai old man).
missed the world cup finals yest... should have trusted myself instead of my bro's hp alarm. he offed it and went back to sleep! argh. shall watch the repeat tonight. though a bit lag...
since channel 5 dun have the goodness in their hearts to show all the matches, i onli like caught a few matches, namely a couple of opening matches i saw in china in which england was really hopeless, the 3rd/4th placing and the semi with germany and italy.
i'm not really a football fan ever since i got put off by singapore soccer back when i was a little kid. talk about the impact of childhood trauma... but since i saw my 1st world cup 4 yrs ago, i grew to have faith in the sport. and lik all ignorant pple, the onli pple i could recognise were from england. i mean, even the aunty down the street knows who beckham is. obviously, i rooted for england( lik there was a choice).
then they got kicked out by brazil. which is when i started not liking brazil. haha. which is why i rooted for germany in the finals. and then they got kicked out. argh... but nevertheless, i found this super pro goalkeeper who will go on to be my ou xiang. (think i have a thing for gaolkeepers... david seaman and lehmann are also my ou xiang!)
anw, sadly kahn wasnt playing in this world cup! so sad can.... but luckily (or not since germany lost to italy) he replaced lehmman in the 3rd/4th placing match. and still so pro!! *gush gush* his reaction is like so fast! and he is just so cool (no matter wat u pple sae...)
so from now on, i shall support germany... they r much more hopeful than england. at least their coach is. but kahn will be gone. but i shall support germany in his memory... hopefully lehmman wont be gone...

Haben blogged in a long time. Didnt even blogged about my ocip. Just kind of lazy to put everything down in words. And not to mention the lack of time to do so. There is like only 2 months to prelims! And based on our calculations, we have to finish 2 chaps per day, starting lik 5 days ago. Wonderful news? A real cause for panic.
Anw, it got a bunch of irritating pple to get me blogging again.
I saw this on someone's blog the other day. Forget whose. Anw, it was about how self-centred Singaporeans can be. Got me wondering if I was one of them. And then I saw 2 perfect egs today. TODAY ALONE. Hope this is a bad day. Wouldnt like this to become a daily routine.
There was this a guy that got into the lift with me and my bro. He was holding a bunch of letters and got in before me. Naturally, he stepped in front of the lift buttons. Out of scepticism that most Singaporeans dun have the goodness in their heart to help me press the button, I stood pretty close to him in case that happens. And guess what he did? He said: wu lou. (5th floor). I practically stopped in shock. Am I supposed to be his bellboy or whatever it is that u call the person who presses buttons for u. I know he was holding letters and stuff. But tts how self-centred pple can get.
Then at dinner today, there was this guy who was totally a perfect eg of self-centredness. I just sat down at this table with a lot of bowls and plates left over by the previous occupier of the table when he also managed to find another empty table. His table also had this bowl left by the previous person. Now guess what he did? He took that bowl and placed it on my table like I simply did not exist. And walked away. A**hole. There was no excuse I could think of for his action. He then proceed to clean his table with plenty of tissues. Fortunately for him, he didnt throw them on my table. Or I would have shove them up his a**hole.
And that was not the 1st time I met with such a person. The other time me and my bro were eating and we placed our trays at the side of the table. This guy just walked up and placed his tray on top of ours. Hello? Did it look like we could do with an extra tray? If he found it quite shun bian, why didnt he took our trays and placed it with his?
Maybe I sound quite like the self-centred pple I am criticising, but seriously I CANNOT stand it...
